I took this picture as Jackson was waking up from a nap. He was just being so calm and quiet and when I went in he was just looking around and being happy. Usually when he wakes up from a nap he is crying, so this was a pleasant surprise. I have found, in the last few days, he does wake up happy if I just listen. He will be in his crib cooing and smiling, until he realizes he is alone and I am not coming, then he starts crying. I am now trying to listen for the first signs of waking up after a nap.

oh my goodness! he is so big! i was going to email you and say "hey, I need to see your baby again...now that he is more than 3 days old!!" Holy cow! Mich, he is a doll! Is he your baby or what?! He totally looks like you! how cute! We need to catch up!

It is amazing how different Jackson and Susan look! He is a cutie! It's fun to see pictures of him. Also, thanks for the great idea for a website to post pictures.

Jackson is so cute! I think he looks a ton like you! Does everyone say that? It's so fun to read your blogs and hear how you are doing. It will be fun to get our little kids together someday! I'll be in Utah this February when my sister had a baby and I would love to come see you and your little family! Keep up all the good work as a mom--you're awesome!
