Trip to California...It turned out to be quite a long stay. My Dad and I had planned on coming home last friday, but my grandma passed away on tuesday night so we stuck around for the funeral. My dad was super busy working on the funeral, but Amy and I were able to have some fun time together with our kids. Marc, Rachael, Ryan, and my Mom arrived on Friday night. Jackson had a small fever all week long, but on saturday it just kept going up...by the time it reached 105 degrees we decided we couldn't wait any longer and rushed him to the emergency room. After spending hours there and running what felt like a million tests, everything came up negative. A blessing, but I still just wanted to know why his fever was so high. It was really scary! Since then his appetite has been small and he has been really fussy, so I took him back to the doctor today and found out he has an ear infection. So we hope to have our happy baby back soon.

I love all the pictures and hope Jackson is feeling better. Sorry to hear your grandma passed away. I'm glad you got to go see her before she died.
Tyler misses you guys sooo much! Almost everyday he tells me we are going to Grandpa's house to see you and Jackson after he gets dressed. It's so sad when I have to tell him that we're not going today...but maybe some other day. I wish we had an actual date we were counting down to. Next time we get together it will be even more fun! Despite the circumstances, it was really a lot of fun to have you guys around. Come back anytime!
