Our first sighting...
Two mornings ago I was getting Jackson a bottle when I realized he had a little white thing sticking out of his gums. Now this may not seem like a blogging moment to most, but to me, it most definitely is. After 10 and 3/4 months of waiting we are finally teething! He has been needing some nubby little things to crunch up all the food we feed him. Now I know we won't like the crankiness or whatever else may come with it, but I am excited for him to have teeth and use them....not necessarily on the side of his crib or on other wooden or precious objects, but with food. Anyway, you know what they say about kids that get their teeth late......, so we have been really worried about the set backs he would experience for the rest of his life. Poor kid, but things are now looking up. :)

Congrats Michelle on Jackson's new teeth! So exciting---hopefully he won't be too cranky and uncomfortable for you. I think Emerson is just beginning that process--he is constantly drooling and putting anything he can into his mouth. His shirts are always soaking!
Yeah! Emma didn't get a tooth until 11 or 12 months either. They never even fazed her...I think they dont get as cranky when they come in late.
Way to go Jackson! Sorry Michelle, but I don't think one little tooth in the front does much in the way of chewing, but atleast it means he actually has teeth and more will eventually come, right? Who knows, the rest may come in quickly and he will probably catch up and beat out Susie before you know it!
