Stabbing Food
Okay, so that sounds a little violent, but it is really not meant to be. I say that to Jackson when he is using a fork lately, but never really thought about what it sounded like until now. Maybe I better be a little more careful. :)
Anyway, Jackson is using silverware and loving it! He thinks it is so much fun, but because of this he never wants to stop and usually gets his mouth a little too full.
Here are a few pictures of him eating with a fork...exciting, maybe only to me, because now I can eat dinner while he is eating dinner--trust me this is a first. I feel like I am always still eating after everyone has cleared up their plates and headed out of the kitchen. sob, sob. I'm over it. :)
I just thought we would share this new fun milestone!

Hey Marc and Michelle! It was so fun looking at your blog! I'll check back again. I'm new to this so once i figure out how to put up a friends list I'll add your link to ours. You guys are so cute. Jackson is very handsome and is growing up! I see Whitney sometimes because she's in the stake primary presidency and i'm in our wards primary presidency, so thats fun. Also, Jareds sister just moved into Roman Gardens, it still smells the same! lucky for her, she got the show apartment! haha!
He is a cutie...and so smart and big!
Boys must be into "stabbing"...we always told Tyler to stab his food. I don't think I've used that word once yet with Susie.
Yeah Jackson! Is he flexing in that second picture to show what a big boy he is now? Too cute!
ahhhh he is such a cutie! I love how everything these little kids do is sooooo exciting - even if it's just eating with silverware!!
Doogie i miss you! :)

Hey Michelle! It's so fun to see you guys online! Congrats on your baby too-- even if he is now over 1 year old. We definitely remember you from Wymount. And I'm so glad we can keep in touch too! In response to your questions: we're having a girl, due Jan. 12. We're living in Madison, WI. My husband got a job with a healthcare software company and we moved out here in May, right after graduation. It has been a great move and we are really enjoying ourselves. I'm excited to keep in touch. I'll definitely check back.
P.S. I see that you are related to Jen Tobler. How funny! We were roommates before we both got married. I'm excited to see what she's up to too.
so, i've been checking the weather. it's finally cooling down a little this week (today it was 90 degrees). marc should get here for his interview when it's in the 70's...he also might want warm clothes for inside....the airconditioning is insane.
Michelle,
I haven't posted my stuff on etsy yet because I wanted to wait until I got back in town after Oct. 5th. Otherwise you have to post that you're on vacation! Anyway, I'm trying to organize everything, figure out pricing and shipping etc then I will surely let you know how to see my store.
I thought a lot about how well you would do with your cards and art work! You should try it! You're so talented!
dear dear michelle,
i must say, the first thing i thought of when I read about jackson STABBING his food, was this: "what happens if he accidentally stabs his tongue? or cheek? or little fingers?--or ears for that matter?" did you know that I have stabbed my ear with a fork? I even have a little scar to prove it. It was purely an accident, and I worry for jackson face! so, you keep an eye out for him, okay? good. HE'S SO BIG!
