Jackson was really fun to take trick-or-treating and get dressed up for Halloween. He was excited about his Halloween costume and would carry it around with him,wanting someone to put it on him. He was a cow this year...nothing too original or exciting, but I sure thought he made a cute cow.
Here he is after dinner wandering around; waiting for me to finish cleaning up.
We were so excited that Marc was able to come home from work a few minutes early, so he could trick-or-treat with us. He had a packed schedule with work and then hurrying to the airport to head off for a dental school interview.
At each door Jackson would hold his pumpkin basket and then after someone would hand him a piece of candy he would drop it right in and sign "thank you". I was so happy to be the mom to this polite little boy (he's not always like this...so it's nice to see it once in a while). :)
At the end of the night Jackson sat surrounded by his candy. I think he wondered why we didn't do this everyday. He signed Candy and Thank You constantly all night! It was really cute!

Way to go Marc for being able to go Trick Or Treating...sounds like life is crazy around your house! Congrats Marc on all the dental school interviews! We are thrilled for you! We need to call you guys and see where you are rootin' for (besides texas, of course). :)

I LOVE the cow costume! I so wish I would have seen that last year for Owen--it would have been perfect during his cow obsession period. Where did you find it?

Jackson is a super cute cow! It would be so fun to see him signing...you should get some video of it and post it. We've tried off and on with Susie. But the only one she has really learned is baby. I don't know why she likes to sign baby, but sometimes when I tell her to make other signs, she just does baby (with a big grin on her face, of course). Oh well. I guess my Baby Einstein's investment wasn't really a great investment.
