Christmas...
(a little slow in posting, but here it is)

A few days before Christmas, we made Jackson this super cute Reindeer T-shirt. We had practiced hand actions to, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, for the last few weeks. Then on Christmas Eve he did the hand actions while we sang the song for a little programs Marc's Family put on. He was such a little ham, he just acted it out so perfectly and when he knew he was getting a good reaction, he would get all the more into it. I am so sad we didn't capture the moment on film! :(

On The Sunday Evening before Christmas we went up to Marc's parent's house and had a Birthday dinner. Here's Marc, blowing out his candles.
On Christmas Eve, Santa came ...aka Marc's Uncle Art. He "plays" Santa all around Utah during the Holidays. He just fills in for Santa when Santa is busy, and you know how busy Santa is on Christmas Eve!
Santa brought Jackson this great Basketball hoop. The second he walked int he room he squatted down and squealed! He kept , "ohhhing " and wanting to throw the ball in forever! It was so cute, how excited he was. He really had the best reaction. I wasn't sure he was even going to care about it. Christmas Morning, we woke and and opened the gifts my parents were giving us and then headed up to be with Marc's family as they opened gifts.

At Marc's parents we opened even more gifts and spent Christmas Day sledding and visiting. It was a fun day! We ended the day by a drive up to Marc's Grandma Rasmussen's house and visited and played games with all the Rasmussen Cousins. It was great seeing everyone.

Looks like you guys had such a great Christmas Michelle! I'm sure that basketball hoop will provide hours of fun for Jackson! And I LOVE the reindeer shirt--I will have to remember that idea for next year. My boys would love that! What a cute idea!

Looks like a very eventful, fun holiday break! So I love your hair! When did you get bangs? It's super cute. And to answer your cleaning question from the other post..I try to distract Emma in any way...I have resorted to TV at times if it is really important but I try to find something else to distract, whether it be coloring, playdough or even eating...And through time, you become a quick cleaner...nothing deep but a quick 5 minute clean up. I wait till night or naps for the deep cleaning...or if Joe is home :) But I think i've just accepted that my house may be a bit messy while the kids are awake and that's okay. I just clean little by little through out the day so by the end, it's not a huge mess! And the first few times, Emma might not have liked having me clean around her but I just kept doing it and she's gotten used to it. She now plays and entertains herself for a good amount of time so that I can clean or work on other stuff...It just takes a bit of practice to multi-task with kids but you'll do fine!
