Oops...

So on Saturday morning I got in the shower and started getting ready. Jackson was being so good, almost too good perhaps. Everytime I would check on him he was just standing next to our coffee table with his back to me. I thought he was playing with his cars. When I had almost finished getting ready, Jackson ran into the bathroom with the most pleased grin on his face, as if to say,"Mom, I made you day easier, I did the job myself!" I took a quick scan of him from head to toe and found this.... (these pictures do not do the situation justice)So pleased with himself

(I asked him what Mom did when she saw him and this is what he did...too funny! If only my reaction had been that calm) :)

Can you believe it? He had smeared himself head to toe with Aquaphor! It was in his hair and behind his ears, covering the front of his shirt and pants, all goobery on his face! I about died and dreaded walking into the room where he had been "playing with his cars" (I should have known). I just knew it was going to be all over the furniture and carpet. The carpet would've been the worst! For anyone that doesn't know my parents they vacuum their carpet daily, don't allow any food on it, and they have had the same carpet since we moved in this house 12+ years ago and it still looks brand new today (never mind that Jackson was ever a newborn and spit-up all over it....not so good. That's another story). Anyway, I was glad to walk into the room and find the Aquaphor completely covering the coffee table, but no where else! What a miracle!

I gave Jackson a quick scrub down, but have yet to get it all the way out of his clothes (currently soaking in a liquid Dawn bath).

The culprit.

That was hilarious! (although I'm sure it wasn't at the time) Jackson is such a cutie! And he is SOOOO big! Did he get that lid open on his own? If so, bravo Jackson!

I got your blog from lindsay hesterly and saw the comment you made about the blog reader. I had never heard about bloglines or blog reader but I use it now and it is such a lifesaver. Bloglines was harder for me to understand and so I tried out blog reader like you commented on Lindsay's and I love it. Huge time saver. And your little boy's story...how funny! It is crazy how much kids pick up on the things their parents do. I can't believe how big your baby is. What a cutie!
