Gasp!!!

Be.Still.My.Heart.

Yes, I have to....I mean WILL have this!

My thoughts on too many occasions lately.  I think I've come across some of the most delightful fabric over the past few months while I have been designing my new line of aprons.

Be prepared for Knock.Your.Scoks.Off kind of material (pardon the pun).

There are so many talented fabric designers.  It is such an exciting feeling to stumble upon a line of fabric and just know it will work for a specific apron.

Maybe Marc should be running the financial aspect of this little apron business, every time I come home from the store toting a couple hundred dollars worth of fabric, I shake my head and wonder how that happened.  I don't think I was supposed to spend that much.  :)  But by golly it is hard to hold back sometimes.

Fair warning that you might want to be saving your pennies and readying yourself for late this summer when a new line of aprons will be introduced into your life.  Only Joking.

I guess more than anything I needed to share what has been consuming every minute of my life.  I am pretty sure I have started to eat, drink, and sleep aprons.  It takes me so long to fall asleep each night as I lay in bed thinking about different patterns of fabric and how one might work with another.   On more than one occasion I have slipped out of bed to flip on the computer and see what the fabrics in my head would actually look like side-by-side.

Obsessed?  Maybe.

Enjoy this wonderful fabric from,  Anna Maria Horner, it should hit quilt shops in the next month or so.

Okay Michelle, so I am just curious--what are your favorite lines of fabric?? And where do you do most of your fabric shopping?? What places are your favorite?? I LOVE fabric shopping--not for aprons, but for quilts! I've been trying to stay away from the stores though, because I'm like you--it is so addicting to find cute fabric and then once you buy it, you have to make something with it! And I really don't have that much spare time on my hands rightnow :)
Your aprons are SO SO cute! I want to come over and see them all in person sometime!

Hey Michelle! You are always welcome to blog stock any time ;) We were hanging out with Brian and Liz the other night and they said, DO you remember Michelle? Oh she is so pretty! And I was like of course I remember Michelle, good old Alpine 6th ward!!! You are very talented with your aprons, have you ever thought of venturing into skirts? I am a huge fan of skirts and I just love what you have done with the aprons. You would be great at skirts too and it seems like the patterns would be similar. Anyway, congrats on UCLA, it is such a hard decision! We have been stressing over it for months and have already turned down 5 other schools and have it narrowed down to these last 2. What made you guys choose UCLA over the cheaper Texas school? (besides the obvious, getting to live in Calli :) Sorry this is a novel, but it was great hearing from you and I will tell Dan hello from your hubby!

So cute fabric! I've been dealing with fabrics lately as well and I love to see what is out there. I'm going to start making nursing covers as well and stuff like that would be off the wall! So cute!
