Lake Powell

We spent all of last week relaxing in Lake Powell...yes be jealous it was great. :) We went with some of Marc's Aunts and Uncles, his parents, and some of his cousins. It was fun to spend some time with them and catch up.

We heard the week before we went down that is was beautiful weather, but we seemed to have to hit it on a bad week, since it rained most of the time. It was still a lot of fun. We passed the rainy and cold time away with games and visiting, but then the instant sun came out we were all out in the boats.

I had never been on a houseboat before, which was actually great for the weather, but because we were on a houseboat we couldn't bring Jackson along. We were sad to not have him with us, but we also enjoyed a little brake. Luckily, Jackson was able to stay with my parents and since that is where we are currently living, it was perfect. Same bed, same schedule, same people (minus Marc and I), same everything....so it doesn't seem it was too hard on him. Thanks for watching him Mom and Dad!

Marc really enjoyed Surfing, behind the boat. He did awesome! Marc could even dance while doing it! Good times. I will admit, that I am terrible at it. I think I will just stick to Wakeboarding. It was fun to wakeboard after a four year leave of the sport and I was able to pick up almost right were I left off. I attempted to jump the entire wake and almost did, but that is as far as my accomplishments go.

We sure appreciate everyone sharing all their fun toys (boats, houseboats, and jet skis) with us!

The snowy drive home....I couldn't believe we had been in water just a few hours before this. Crazy weather?! Can't wait for the warm summer weather to arrive! :)
