Jackson's Birthday (Part 2)...

We had a great birthday celebration. In the morning we took Tyler and Jackson up to the Children's Museum (Discovery Gateway) up at the Gateway Mall. It was a blast. I have to say about one in every five pictures I took turned out, because those kids were on the move constantly and SO excited to see everything! They loved ever minute of playing there and we had to talk them into leaving. It is a little pricy, but it is definitely worth the expense for how long we were able to stay and how much fun they had while we were there.

Since it is Ryan and Criag's Birthdays (my brothers) too, they decided they wanted Steaks at home for dinner. So that evening we had a BBQ for dinner and spent time opening gifts and playing. We had another successful year in the Cake decorating department. Yea Me! :) I sure was happy with the end result and I know Jackson was thrilled. We let the three kids eat the cars of the top...solid frosting...gag, but they couldn't have been happier.

Jackson loved opening his gifts and got so exicted about everything. He was particuallarly excited about his new train tracks! He has been dying to have trains to play with. He loves Thomas the Train and any other trains, so he was so exicted to get trains. It was really cute to watch him open it. I also made him a train quilt that he loved. It turned out pretty cute considering I just made up my own pattern and design for it...and since it was the FIRST quilt I have ever made.

I can't believe Jackson is two! Two years have passed so quickly, we sure love our little buddy!
