On August 2, Marc's parents took us up to the Heber Creeper for a tree hour train ride. Jackson loved it! He couldn't have been more happy. What a treat to be on an actual train. If anyone knows Jackson they know that he loves trains, as I am sure a lot of little boys his age do, but seriously he goes crazy when he hears the sound, sees one while we are driving in the car, or is playing with his train set he got for his birthday.
We all really enjoyed the ride. The ride starts up in Heber and heads down Provo canyon. It turns around in Vivian Park and then heads back up to Heber. While the train sat in Vivian Park they let some of the kids go and sit in the conductors seat up front. Jackson and Marc took their turn.
After the train ride we went to a cute little inn that Marc's Mom was dying to take us to and ate a delicious dinner. Lucky, for us there was an outdoor patio with tables and a pond surrounding it. It kept Jackson occupied and excited feeding the fish and ducks. He got a little nervous when one of the duck tried to grab the bread right out of his hand. :)
It sure was a fun! Thanks again for the fun Grandma and Grandpa!

I have been thinking about taking Emma on that. She loves trains. I heard kids get bored, but it doesn't sounds like your son did...maybe I will try it.
