Disneyland

Many of the girls in our ward have season passes to Disneyland. I had talked to a few of the moms who told me that they tend to go about once a month and how much fun it was. Well, I decided to join in the fun and bought a season pass for myself. Jackson and I went with a few girls (from our ward) and their kids this past week. It was so fun!Jackson loved every minute of it. It was fun to watch his face light up at the thought of seeing something or wanting to go on a ride. At the first ride of the day Jackson was extremely disappointed to find that he had to "wait his turn". He hated watching Casey Jr.'s Train pull away without us on it. I am pretty sure he thought it had left him and wasn't coming back. He of course loved riding on the train.

He saw the Dumbo ride next and we headed over there. He loved going up high. I was a little nervous that he wouldn't like the ride once we were on it, but he couldn't get enough of it and if we moved the Dumbo down, he would get mad and want to "Go up high again!"

As we were walking to the Buzz lightyear ride Jackson saw a rocket ride and said, "Is it Mommy?" Meaning...what is it mommy? I said, "Its a Rocket Ride." Then he said, "Jackson take a trip on his favorite rocket ship?" If any of you have kids out there you know that is the line from the opening theme song of Little Einsteins, which needless to say is one of Jackson's favorite shows.

We took turns watching each others kids so we could go on Space Mountain. As Bryn and I took our turn we were shocked, to walk right up the the front of the line. There was NO LINE AT ALL! Some of the carts were coming back empty except for a person or two. It was great!

We enjoyed California Adventure too. They have a playhouse Disney Show. Jackson's favorite shows on TV are on Playhouse Disney, so he absolutely loved the play.
(this picture sums up me trying to
get a picture of him at the playhouse
disney show. he was so excited and
couldn't stop dancing and moving)

Then we finished off the day by running through the water in the Bug's Life area. It was such a hot day that it was a relief to get to play in the water. Jackson loved getting soaked and rode home in just his diper.

It was such a fun day. I am excited to have a season pass and get to spend a little more time there with Jackson. Plus it was fun to get to know some of the girls in my ward and to ride to and from with Bryn and her daughter Claire. Thanks for the ride!
