Thanks for the updates! I check your blog often to see what is new. I’m glad you guys got to LA with no problems, and you are all settled in. I love that the church is the same no matter where you go. That’s what makes moving for me not so bad. Can’t wait to hear how things go while you’re in LA.
Michelle! I totally loved reading all about your move and settling in because it is just what we have gone through in the last month! (Today we have been here exactly one month!). Really, finding the Target, Walmart and Costco, getting to know the grocery store, mapquest leading me to dead ends, and making homemade chocolate chip cookies to feel more "homie" I have done all of that in the past month! Bit by bit it is feeling more like home. We are just about 10 minutes from Newport. Maybe about an hour away from you guys? Isn't great to have all your stuff moved in and unpacked? I can't imagine making that big move with a two year old! I'm paying more and more attention to things like this now that I am going to be a mom, thanks for the congrats by the way! We are very excited. Sorry this comment is so long. Your new place looks great!
You did it! Wow, that is such a big deal. I am so glad you are all settled in and feeling more at home. I am sorry I didn't see you before you left! It is so great that we can still stay in touch this way though! I LOVE the video of Jackson dancing--so cute!

It's got to be a little intimidating as well to be in a completely new area, all by yourself. But, I'm sure it will all go well, because you are AMAZING! I miss UCLA and that area--I haven't visited there since 2001 I think.
