Happy Halloween

We had a fun Halloween. I had a doctor's appointment in the morning (another story, for another post), so Jackson got to play with Claire all morning. I gave Jackson the choice of clothes or his Halloween costume in the morning and he picked his costume, so he had it on all day. I was surprised it lasted that long. He loved wearing it and talking about "roaring" at people and scaring them.

When Marc got home we ate a quick dinner, then Marc and Jackson headed out to knock on a few doors. Marc said that Jackson loved it. He said that Jackson would jump up and down after the people had closed the door, because he was so excited about all the candy. When jumping, all his candy would fall out of his bag. :) If Jackson was given any choice of what kind of candy he wanted, he ALWAYS chose a sucker. He has been non-stop asking for suckers for his Halloween bag since. He loves them.

After knocking on a few doors, we headed over to our ward's Trunk-or-Treat. It was fun to see people in the ward and let Jackson get a little more candy. :) At the last minute Marc threw on a Batman cape and so we decorated our trunk to look like the Bat Cave. Holidays definitely get more fun as Jackson gets older. It was fun to watch his reaction to Halloween and everything that comes with it.Playing on the grass at the Ward Trunk or Treat

Look at Jackson's mouth...candy overload, probably yes!

I love how Jackson has a sucker in his mouth in almost every picture!
