Happy Birthday Marc!
On Marc's birthday we opened up his gift before Church and then headed up to his parents house after church. Marc's sister and his family (Jen and Ben and kids) had come into town and were there to help celebrate Marc's birthday. Marc's mom made Marc the dinner of his choice and for dessert a Texas sheet cake (another favorite of Marc's).
Before all of the birthday celebrations however, we got a visit from Santa (Marc's Uncle Art). When we arrived at Marc's parents house "Santa" was already there. Jackson walked right up to him and said, "Jackson wants a train table" with out any prompting. Then just stood there and stared. Santa went and sat in a more comfortable chair and Jackson followed him and we all took pictures with him. Jackson sat on his lap and was happy to talk to him. After his turn he sat on my lap near Santa and just soaked it all in. It was easy to see he was truly enthralled by Santa and wanted to just be near him.
We had a fun evening playing games and celebrating Marc's birthday.
