Other things he might not tell you about, but I will...
Jackson loves to Dance. The second music comes on he is moving and sometimes he doesn't even realize he is. Often times he will be moving right to the beat and say, "Feel that beat Mom. Its a good one."
Loves Music...see a post from a few days ago about the music he loves.
Loves to read books...some of his favorite Wocket in my Pocket and The Donut Chef
T.V. shows, Anything Playhouse Disney (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Little Einsteins, Imagination Movers, and Handy Manny), but Phineas and Ferb is is FAVORITE show of all shows if he has the choice.
Favorite things to do...
play pirates, have book parties (popcorn, spic
y juice, and all the books off the bookshelf, and me reading to him), have school (me teaching him letters or numbers etc.), play at the playground, the beach, play with his train table, wooden blocks (Marc and my Dad made him when we were in Utah a month ago), legos, watercolor painting.
We have quiet time from about 1:00-2:00 or 2:30 everyday (he lays on his rug with a few buckets of toys while I do whatever I want to do.
He is in an awkward smiling stage. Just look at most of the pictures I post of him. :)
He has a kind heart. There is a little boy in nursery that spends the majority of the time crying in nursery and Jackson will periodically throughout nursery take toys up to him and ask him to play or give him a toy to play with.
Favorite Phrases:
"Oh pickles."
"Oh, geez."
"Whatever."
"Its alright Mom."
"What does this come from?"
"We'll do it on Thursday." (He says this to anything he doesn't want to have to do right then)
"Are you kidding me?!"
A Few Funny Stories from the last few weeks...
Marc had both of the boys in the car and Bennett was being really fussy, so Marc turned on Opera music in hopes it would just shock him and he would stop. Sure enough it worked. So Marc left it there and started singing along. From the backseat, Jackson looked at Marc and shaking his head said, " Dad you're freakin' me out!"
Jackson said this to me while Marc was taking a nap on the couch. "Mom, I totally want to go over there and bug Dad."
After getting a turn in Nursery to go up and fish from a fishing pond to pick a song, Jackson returned to his seat and "tried" to whisper to the little boy sitting next to him, "If they call on you, you should totally go up there and do that. You'd really like it."

That little Jackson is a keeper! What a cute kid. I loved reading about his little phrases. It seems like he is at a fun age. Love the pics, too!
I can't believe how big your baby is getting! Life has been crazy busy and so I don't get to check blogs very often so it seem like he just grew overnight.
Claire says Hi jackson and she loves you! Sounds like the betrothal is still on.
ok, is he too cute or what? I especially love the stories you told about him. "Dad you're freakin' me out!"--hA!!
i love it.
good work, michelle. you've raised quite the cutie.
And, I love the book parties idea. TOO FUN! You are a good mom!
Cute - what a great tradition. You will be glad you have this when he is older.
So, I'm not pregnant or anything.. But this post totally makes me feel like it'll be ok if I have some boys :)
We love Jackson! Kids are so funny. I love the birthday interview idea, I'll have to steal it that one, like most of your ideas.
Great idea, interviewing your child...I can only imagine what Davis might share with me???
He is so cute! I love hearing about the funny and sweet things kids'll do n' say.
