Day #2--Road Trip
June 2012
Woke up just a few hours outside of Kansas City, Kansas.
Drove.
Played with Grandpa in the Backseat.
Stuck Stickers all over Grandpa's face.
Drove.
Stopped in Independence Missouri.
Saw Temple Lot.
Saw LDS Visitors Center.
Drove.
Stopped at Liberty Jail.
Drove.
At Lunch at Jack Stacks.
Delish!
Drove.
Bennett Slept.
Stella Slept.
Jackson played with Grandma in the backseat and worked on Summer Homework.
Drove.
Stopped at Adam-ondi-omin.
Drove.
Stopped at Sonic for Ice Cream and Slushies.
Drove.
Played with Grandma.
Drove.
Got P.J.'s, on did nighttime routine, turned on Children's Songbook music.
Kids fell asleep.
Drove.
Wake Stella up 45 mins. away from hotel (so she will be happy and ready to sleep at hotel).
Drove.
Get suitcases.
Bennett sat on suitcase, tipped over bonked head, lots of crying.
Jackson begging to go swimming (at 10:30 PM).
Lay out kids beds. Beg them not to touch anything unneccessary.
Feed Stella a bottle.
Everyone Asleep.

Hey Michelle! Its so funny ... your roadtrip is so very similar to the trip I made when I moved to Florida just over a year ago. I hope you are enjoying it out there -- I miss it there SO much! :)
Oh I am so proud of you and your kids! It seems like it mostly went smoothly. And what fun places to stop and see. Marc's hair is long! Is it still like that or did he cut it before his program started? I like it long. Sure miss you guys, hope all is well!
That is a loooooong trip with so many kids and people packed into the car! I love the pics of the boys holding up ginormous chunks of meat. haha.
What an awesome trip! We did this same thing with my whole extended family on a chartered bus last year! Best vacation ever! I'll bet your little family will always remember it as being one of their favs!
