San Antonio!
Be prepared for picture overload. We went down to San Antonio this past weekend for a Dental School Interview. We stayed with Melissa and Aaron (our friends that are down there for dental school). It was tons of fun. They showed us all the great things to about S.A. and Melissa and I got plenty of time to catch up and talk about EVERYTHING! Thanks again for having us ya'll. :)
Jackson really excited about flying to Texas. On our flight between SLC and S.A. our stroller handles were snapped completely off by the wonderful staff at US Airways. We are still dealing with that fun little matter and hope one day to have our cute stroller back again.
Other than our cute stroller being broken we arrived in Texas in one piece and excited to see Melissa and Aaron. It was late saturday night when we got there, so we didn't do much besides sleep. On Sunday morning we listened to Conference. Then in between sessions we went on a picnic and drove by the Temple.
We also took Jackson to see the Texas Blue Bells or was it Blue Bonnets we kept getting the ice cream brand and the flower name confused while we were there. They are everywhere, but we stopped at one of the greatest spots to get some pictures...on the freeway on ramp. There were quite a few people there taking pictures of their kids in the flowers. But most of the other kids were cute little girls in easter dresses.
On Monday Marc had his interview in the morning and then we were off to explore San Antonio. In the middle of downtown S.A. they had a River walk. It is so awesome! You wouldn't ever know you were in a city after going down below by the River. There are cute shops and resturants along the edge of it. We took a boat tour of it and then walked along the edge. It was fun to hear about the history of the city and fun facts about the river.
Eating lunch at a Mexican Resturant on the Riverwalk...Casa Rio.
Jackson slept for most of lunch, but woke up near then end sweaty and ready for some water...poor kid.

Jackson being the cutest cowboy ever
My birthday was on Monday so we celebrated that also...here we are opening a gift.
Out to dinner for my birthday at Rudy's a BBQ place. Great food and good company!
Jackson trying his first pickle. He gave us some of the funniest expressions, but we didn't catch them quick enough.
At 4:00 in the am....this is the look Jackson was giving us as we boarded the plane to head home. Crazy kid.
See Ya'll Later!

Jackson might be the cutest cowboy ever but you are the cutest mom ever...with the exception of your mom, of course!! Actually you tie for cutest moms! I love these pictures!! Looks like you had a great trip! Is that where you are hoping to go for dental school?
Very Cute, Michelle. So close and yet, so far away! We love San Antonio and it's only a few hours away. We've eaten at both of those restaurants and have the same pictures in the bluebonnets and in front of the alamo and at the restaurants, riverwalk, etc.! What great memories! Good luck with everything. You all look so cute and happy. Very fun post. Thanks for sharing.
