California

This past weekend we suddenly decided to go to california to meet up with Kevin, Amy and their kids to go to Disneyland. Ryan and a friend decided to meet up with us also. So on Thursday Marc and I drove down to California after Marc was off work. We rolled into my Grandma and Grandpa's way too early in the morning (2:30am). Luckily we have a baby that doesn't know how to sleep in and was still definitely on Utah time and thus woke up at 6:30am. Needless to say we were grateful to have a relaxing day with my grandparents. We mostly just sat around and visited, but of course went out to dinner in the evening and then out for ice cream after that. It was a lot of fun being with them. On Saturday we went to Disneyland with Kevin, Amy (their kids), Ryan, Brittney, Kyle, Tabitha, and their daughter Hallie. It was fun seeing everyone! It was especially fun to see the kids that were old enough react to Disneyland, although I must say I still get really excited to go to Disneyland myself. Their really is something just magical about it...I dare say the Happiest place on earth. Jackson was great for us sleeping in his stroller and never really getting fussy. On Sunday morning we drove back to Utah and ended our fun little vacation.

You gotta love those really really really short vacations! But i've only been to Disneyland once in 3rd grade so i'd love to go again in my lifetime...probably when my kids are older...ahhh! I'm getting so old!

That sounds like such a fun weekend Michelle! I want to take Owen to Disneyland so bad! But I really don't want to drag Emerson around yet--so maybe in a year or two! How are things going for you guys? Do you have any big plans for the summer?

sorry it's me again. In answer to your question about our anniversary---we didn't do anything too exciting--just out for the night without any kids (which was wonderful)!! We've decided next year will be the year where we do something fun and exciting--our first anniversary Owen was three weeks old, our second, we had moved to Idaho the day before, and now our third---well, I'm still nursing Emerson! But next year we will be free to go and do something exciting...without kids!

Hey Michelle,
I was wondering if I should put you and Mark as family (even though we technically aren't) but I guess if your family is sealed to my sister (by marriage) then we technically are. So I'm putting you as family today.
