Epicurean Style

Okay, so I have been working on a top secret project with Anna (my new best friend). She is an amazing photographer! You are going to love her work, trust me. We were really wanting to show how aprons can be used for a variety or things/activities...with these photo's. I am pretty sure that Anna caught the vision and carried it so much further than I had dreamed.

So anyway, I need so help picked photos for a catalog and would LOVE everyone's help and input. Visit EpicureanStyle Blog and let me know what you think...either here or on the poll to the edge of the page on that blog.

Thanks for all the help! Don't forget to let me know what you think.

Things I need to know...

Favorite Styles....new or old
Favorite pictures for a catalog
Which apron you would buy if you were in the apron buying market
Any Marketing tips... :)

Love all of them but if I were to buy one it would be: 1,2, or 15
Put in a catalog: 1, 5, 12, 15,...

I would contact somehow designmom.com - they do stuff like this all the time, plus she has a huge following. And the right audience. She does free giveaways all the time - maybe send one to her to give away. People will notice them more. Other websites you could give some info: notmartha.org and yourheartout.com (she is just utah)

I love them all. The bathtub is my favorite. I also love the making cookie one. I like the black and white pattern aprons. SO CUTE! You are amazing and so is your photographer. Good luck and I will definitely pass along your name and website!

Michelle--fabulous pictures!! I love them all!

My favorites though:
#1--I love the different color contrasts
#5--maybe because that picture just fits my life rightnow :)
#7--again, love the black/white and red contrast
#15--so cute!
#16

as far as styles go, I love them all, but if I had to pick just one, I love #7 (with the ruffles at the bottom--so fun)!

I am amazed at how talented you are!! I will have to come and visit one of these days and see them close up in person and buy one from you!

Michelle, you are so talented! And your photographer is awesome! I voted for 1,2,3, 8 and 11? maybe. Now I don't remember the numbers of the pics! Ahhh! But, I loved the kids dancing, the cookie baking and others! I do love the tub one too! I am more into the ones without ruffles! But, your work is awesome! Best of luck!
You can try etsy out too, but that might be too much for you right now!

Those are really cute aprons-- and a very talented photographer. I too was going to suggest etsy.com . I think you have to pay a commission of your sale to them and pay to put your item up, but it would definitely give your aprons a bigger audience and you can even link from your etsy page to your actual website.

Another thing I've seen quite a bit recently is like a product giveaway. Ask your friends and family to advertise for you and then you could hold a drawing and enter whoever has you linked on their website/blog and then offer to give away one of your aprons.

The other thing is to find someone to help you with Search Engine Optimization so that when people google "aprons" or "gifts for moms" your website comes up to the top. Although, I don't know exactly how to do that, but I know that it can be done if you can see what search terms are bringing you links and then tailor your website so that you get more.

Good luck. I'm really excited for you. They really are super cute aprons!

You were right when you said your photographer is awesome--she's amazing! I would love to work with her! And your aprons are so impressive! I think these photos could sell your work better than Martha Stewart could! :) I cast my vote...it was not easy to pick favorites. You can't lose with any of them. Seriously though, I am very impressed with everything you are doing!

Michelle, I am in awe once again! Like the others said--you and your photographer are A-mazing! I was walking through the University Mall today and there is a new kiosk that is selling aprons, but yours are way cuter! I can't wait to see where this takes you. I would suggest: tutusandturtles.blogspot.com for advertising. They always highlight different way cute things for moms and children. Check it out. I really want an apron! Are your new styles available now?

Michelle,
I hope you don't mind me posting. This is Amanda (Scott) from good old BYU Hinckley Hall days. I found your site through Cortney's webpage. Anyways, those aprons are amazing! I can't believe how cute they are, I'm so impressed. The pictures are amazing - what a great photographer you've found.
