FINALLY some sunny weather

.....and other random things....

Three Cheers for the Sunny Warm Weather!!! It has felt so great to soak up a little sun and enjoy being outside the last few days. I can't tell you how happy it makes Jackson. If I let him he would stay outside all day.

Yesterday Jackson went for his first swim of the season with Marc before Marc had to head off for work. We had to drag him out of the pool when it was time for Marc to leave--he was having so much fun! He loves to put his whole face under the water and blow bubbles. I tried to catch it on camera and only sort of did.

Later when Rachael went for a swim, Jackson was so desperate to get in that I just took of his clothes and let him jump in with Rachael. The kid has no fear---a good thing and a bad thing. He just jumps in, without even realizing that he needs someone to catch him. :) Luckily, he seems to be a little fish and we haven't had any close calls yet.

Then today we had J.T. and Blake over for a little swim. Jackson loves J.T. and Blake. When we picked J.T. up to bring him out to our house, Jackson had so much to tell J.T. and J.T. had so much to tell Jackson. J.T. taught Jackson all about THE RULES OF SWIMMING on our way home...along with Enerca and gravity. The kid is a riot! We sure loved having you come out today J.T.

We took Jackson to see, Horton Hears a Who, last week on Marc's day off. Jackson actually seemed to really like it (not that he had a clue what in the world was going on, but he recognized some of the animals and still can't stop talking about the Elephant). If you haven't seen it, you really should. It is a cute movie.

Jackson begged me to go outside with him last week when it was FREEZING! But he didn't notice the cold at all. He was so happy and played with a toy truck the whole time we were out there.

Try to ignore his yucky dripping nose...sorry.
