BYU Football
August 30, 2008

We were lucky to get to go to one BYU football game this season. Since we weren't leaving town until Wednesday, we went to the game on Saturday. It was so fun to watch BYU play again. There is something exciting about football season. I love going to football games and the atmosphere surrounding the game. It is just so fun.

Well, being that it was the first game of the season it was a little hot....remember last years first game....click here. I should learn that the first game is ALWAYS blazing hot, but for some reason...I just keep dragging Jackson to it.

He was so hot. But being the lucky boy that he is, Marc bought him an minute maid icee treat and that seemed to keep him a little cooler. We also kept dumping water on his head for a little relief from the heat.

Towards the end of the game they showed a clip on the big screen of Cosmo giving a little kid a high-five. As soon as Jackson saw that he started begging to give Cosmo a high-five. However, Cosmo was halfway around the stadium from where we were so I told him, if Cosmo got closer to us then we would give him a high-five. Jackson kept his eye on him and as soon as Cosmo was in the endzone closest to us he started begging to go "give Cosmo a high-five!" So Jackson and I headed down to the endzone. Jackson sat and yelled Cosmo's name. But eventually Cosmo came our way. Jackson was able to not only give him a high-five, but a hug too! He couldn't stop talking about it all day. It was such a highlight in life and so cute to see how excited he was by it all.
We had fun sitting by the cousins. I am definitely going to miss cousin get togethers and events while living away from Utah. It has been so fun to have the friendships and connections with cousins, but it is especially fun to join up in Provo for a few years during college. The crowd changes a little every year, but it is always fun. I miss all of you already, thanks for letting us join in one last time. :)

I love this second picture down on this post - that is a classic Marc expression. It's funny, I haven't seen much of Marc in Jackson until some of these recent pictures. The dancing - above "california knows how to party" definitely looks like Marc moves :p
What a cutie!
